"Batman Dead End" and "Hunter Prey" screening with Q&A Wed 2/16 in San Francisco...
I had a prior commitment...but I got free from that at around 6:15 pm...so I said...frakk it...I'm going...lol.
So I rushed to the Fruitvale BART station...parked my truck...hopped on a train...and inside 15-20 minutes...I was at the Hobart Bldg...it's right next to the Montgomery St BART station.
I arrived there right at 7 pm.
The place was packed!
There was a full bar too...I had a beer...lol.
Then I helped myself to a bag of FREE popcorn and a diet Coke...and promptly took a seat in the back (the BIG seats were in the back, lol).
Well...as soon as I took a seat...lo and behold...SANDY SHOWS UP!!!
It was super duper super awesome seeing my buddy Sandy again...the man is a force of nature...he made the drive all the way from LA...and get this...after the show...he was invited by the people who put this together to stay overnight...and Sandy said...
...FORGETABOUTIT...I'm driving back right now!!!
The man is a real live TERMINATOR!!!
Sandy sat right next to me...and we watched Batman Dead End, World's Finest...and Hunter Prey together...it was so bloody AWESOME...
Then after the screening...there was a session of Q & A's...I'll let Sandy take it from here...but at this instant (1:20 am)...he's on his way back to LA.
I had absolutely NO plans whatsoever of going...but like I said...had that half an hour window to go...so I took it...and I'm so glad I did...got to see my friend Sandy again.
I am on the phone with the Sandman right now and the poor bastig is STILL driving! He is caught in the early morning rush hour after driving all night to get home. It was so cool that you could go Hector. I know my buddy was bummed that there wasn't going to be any familiar faces in the crowd. I think you made his day.
glad you made it, Hec. I was thinking of dragging the kids--but I figured that it would really screw up their schedule. I'm excited that it went well for Sandy. I would really have loved to see the two films with a committed crowd.
FINALLY home. Man, I'm tired... But I don't go the extra mile for my fans, I go the extra 864 MILES for them! Gonna grab a few quick zzzz's before I go workout, then when I get to the studio later, I'll post more of a proper account of the awesome evening. And yes, Dave... Hec made my night. It was the most awesome things seeing his smiling face in that theater! Love ya big guy!
man Sandy If you have pictures please post
Im still sad about our deal not going through at my end
But I have telling everyone at the Law Firm I work at to Rent or Buy Hunter Prey!
