Ok, so we're looking at a date sometime near July 4th. Let's figure it out and get it settled, so we can make a proper thread about this get together, so we can see who's interested and how many people we're actually going to have. I can put up a list of very affordable hotels/motels in the area as well, etc...

Fair is fair, I have met a ton of Museum Members (in Oklahoma, no less) without having to put forth any effort at all. All of them have been nearby or in some instances, they made it a point to be here or had business that brought them through town. It is my turn to make a pilgrimage.

(I'd love to got to MegoMeet but it happens to fall at a time that is the absolute worst for me to leave work so I have never been able to attend.)

golly I would love to take the guys there. Summertime is a great time to be there. I will have to see what Sammy thinks, or if he would like to come. I have never been to a bon fire.

I would rather fly but then there's like four of us...

I have a few medical issues that makes a long drive rather difficult for me.

It would be really cool if Jess and the boys could come too. But I can't speak on that.

My truck is only a single cab...and would be uncomfortable for a long trip.

If I were to drive there...it would have to be on a rented Cadillac Escalade...

And yes, I'd be up for a trip to So. Cal, Sandy's studio, and some time on the beach. I'm not a great swimmer, but I love the water. And I would love to meet Todd! I have some vacation time coming the week of July 4th, (my birthday is the 8th!) So I'd be up for a gathering!

I'll let you guys do the swimming...my idea of beach leisure is to relax on the sand...sipping some ice cold Coronas...

To Sharry, Sandy, and Hector...keep me "in the loop" on this. I would do my best to make it out...timing would be the only thing to keep me away.

I've often told Hector that I would love to have the chance to continue our "Supes V Bats" debate around a camp fire and I wouldn't miss that opportunity!
