      No, that was the basic problem. It was basically a light contact scrimmage...nobody giving 100% on either side with a few exceptions. At one point between switching it back and forth, the NFC already had racked up a score of 35-0 or 35-3 something like that and it wasn't even halftime.

        Here's why it sucks, these are the additional rules specifically for the Pro Bowl;

        * No motion or shifting by the offense
        * Offense must have a tight end in all formations
        * Offense can’t have 3 receivers on a side
        * Intentional grounding is legal
        * Defense must run a 4-3 at all times
        * No press coverage except inside the 5 yard line
        * No blitzing
        * Not allowed to rush a Punt, PAT or FG attempt

        And the RB was Robert Edwards from the Patriots. He blew out his knee in 1999 after his 1100 yard rookie season. I think he injured it playing in the Rookie Beach Bowl which was a flag football game held at the Pro Bowl. It was so bad they thought he might never walk again but he rehabbed and came back a couple years later and played for the Dolphins I think.
