I'd move down under no problem.

Yeah, for those of you picking Seattle...you are off your rocker. If you lived here for 39 years like me, you'd be looking to get out. In all seriousness Seattle is not that great of a city.

For me, Chicago is my #1 choice. San Francisco #2.

I do love CA, even though I don't love Oakland. I've lived in San Clemente, and and San Juan Capistrano, but I might like to try someplace like Monterey, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, I dunno...someplace here in CA I've never lived before.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

None other. I was on location there for a movie I don't even remember the name of, and I would go in every night and rent movies. Great store, and great people. A few years back, Harry Knowles held a screening of "Shaun of the Dead" at the Alamo Drafthouse. Me and one of my make-up guys flew to Austin and made everyone up as zombies, including Harry and the Pedazo Chunk crew. We actually did all the make-ups and dressed everyone at the store. It was a total blast. I'll have to dig up some pix...

First 35 yrs in the Bay Area, last 10 here in Austin (humidity not that bad)... LOVE both places.

But, if I lived anywhere else it would be Los Gatos, CA. Close to the coast, right between SF and Santa Cruz and near a bunch of great wineries!

BTW...you weren't born in Oakland, were you? Weren't you in Mexico when you were little?
