Anytime the Giants don't make the playoffs is OK with me...and Dallas Beat Philly today...so that made it even better. I know Philly didn't play Vick...but face it, Dallas should have beaten them in Big "D" a few weeks ago. I feel bad for Jason Garret because he should have been 7 - 1. Cowboys lost 2 games they should have won. The Philly Game and the game last week. Don't think Jerry Jones is that smart...so it looks like there will be a new coach in Big "D". At least that's my whole take on the Boys.
As far as the Giants...face it, they weren't that good. They had a weak schedule. I think they split all the games in their division. Wouldn't have made a difference if they made the playoffs...they'd be one and done.

And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
The Cowboys all But Won that Game Against the Saints on ThanksGiving ...., I thought it was real Impressive considering , and if not for a play here or there, it was thier Game . Saints Squeeked by ...
I hope Jones Keeps Garret for atleast 1 Season ..., I mean Come On Man, That Dude Just Made Kitna a Complete Bad Arse . Thats gotta count for something, Even more so with that 1'st game with Philips at the Helm, and The Packers Destroyed them.
Remember a couple of years back the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs! We have a pathetic game on tonight with two rookie QB's playing the equivalent of high school-style football. And one of these teams (both with losing records) not only get to go to the playoffs, but get their first game at home! Adding the extra divisions is what screwed this up so badly.

I agree but one more win preferably two weeks ago in Philly would have put me over the top on wins against the Jets, instead the loss caused them a playoff spot and me a steak dinner!

Jerry will make Garrett the head coach. It's already a done deal, they just have to interview a few others to comply with the Rooney Rule. And that, IMO, is one flaw with that rule. Don't get me wrong, I like the rule, but I feel it should not need to be enforced if a team has an interim coach they want to make head coach. That causes teams to just go through the motions, which isn't in the spirit of the rule. Again, just my opinion on it.

Hey! Whitehurst isn't a rookie! Show Charlie some respect!
Sorry. I thought they said it was his first start. My bad.
It's his second this year...and second in his career. He's been in the league five years. Actually, pretty happy with his play tonight and this has been a really well played game.
Are you guys really that surprised about the Giants not making the playoffs? NFC East is a pretty good division. Take away the 8 game stretch from the time the owner said Coughlin's job was in jeopardy and their Super Bowl win and they haven't exactly been over whelming, ever. I still think Philip Rivers was the best QB in that trade, and Ben Roethlisberger was the best in that draft, his off field crap not withstanding.
I think Dallas was the biggest surprise this year. I'm not overly impressed by them but I expected them to be better than they were while Romo was healthy. They were actually better after he went down. They should give Garrett the head coaching job. I'm pretty sure they will.
