Anyone see the Arnolds burning down episode last night?
That episode for me pretty much was the end of Happy Days for me. I guess you could say that episode was symbolic in a sense.

The Hub is changing the order of their line-up:

    Happy Days 8-9 PM
    Wonder Years 9 Pm
    Doogie Howser 9:30 Pm
    Family Ties 10-11 PM

This sucks for me because I usually tune in to HD after watching other prime time stuff...I have NO desire to watch Family Ties at 10 Plus, Happy Days was a nice lead-in to Laverne & Shirley at 11...

When I was a kid I remember thinking Random looked like a skinny Apollo from Galactica.

The Hub seemed to really butcher that episode. I think Random was in it for about 30 seconds with the cuts.

Oh, I meant to add this at some point: My wife Cindy pointed out how it's kind of disturbing how many time Richie willingly makes out with other women, despite "going steady" with Lorrie Beth, and supposedly being "Mr. Goody Two-Shoes". Melvin Scratch even scoffs at him for being so pure!

    Opie's a playa!

Were they trying to spin her off too?

Yeah it seemed slapped on there....

So we're in the last real season of Happy Days now, right? 1979-1980 season? The last with Richie and Ralph. Also where Arnold burns down.
    Yup the end is near....

I will say, that although I didn't like the new Arnold's, the episode itself was exciting. Richie, Ralph and Potsie actually get to save Fonzie, which is quite a switch.
Yes Fonzie trying to smash through the wall while wearing the motorcycle helmet that you NEVER SEE HIM WEAR!

Tonight's first episode was the famous "Pumps your blood" episode, with the song that will forever stick in our heads.
    Ooooo....that's a keeper!

Tonight's episode was very confusing....."Shotgun Wedding" is a two-parter with the 2nd part being a Laverne & Shirley episode. The Happy Days portion ends with Richie racing off to find L&S to help save the Fonz who is being held by a shotgun toting farmer. Cut to the Fonz meeting up with Mr. C and explaining how he got away without Richie's help. This is the syndicated version.

However, the Hub follows it up with the L&S episode where the girls accompany Richie to rescue the Fonz from the farmer.

If anything they should have removed that tag ending with Fonzie and Mr. C and then it would have flowed better and made more sense....
I thought something was up, as I didn't remember the show ending that way. I noticed the L&S episode was called "Farmer's Daughter Part 2" and had the same description as the Happy Days episode, but I didn't watch all of it. I had to get to bed!
