With the networks being filled with Ghosts hunters,ghosts whispherers,ghost trackers,and whatever else they can parade across the screen.Is it safe to safe with all these shows most people believe in ghosts?

I think most people do believe in them or at least they are curious about them. I poke fun at these things but the possibility does scare me. I will joke about it but I try not to cross the line because I don't want to mess with something I don't really know all that much about. I used to watch Sightings and their re-enactments were far more frightening, until the show A Haunting came along. -
I don't want to believe in ghosts because the thought of it sounds flakey, but i've seen some stuff in the past that has changed my mind on the subject.

Having lived in my fathers basement,I have to say my belife in the supernatural is firm.
Dont think I could convince you bout this without first hand experience.
Rest assured though that I am sure.

I have had several experiences that make me believe in something. I'm a very skeptical person, so I won't say 'ghosts' exist, but there is something there that I can't explain and I suspect that whatever that 'something' is, is the same thing that most people call 'ghosts.'
A friend of mine back in the late 80s / early 90s lived in a house with his parents. They all talked about the 'ghost' that lived there like it was a person...like a roommate or something. I thought they were crazy at first...ok, well, they were crazy, but as for the ghost thing, there was something going on there. One or two things that I couldn't explain - whatever. But things happened so many times that none of the rest of us could explain and the family's attitude was pretty much:
"I don't know what you're problem is. It's the ghost. And your suggestions for what's going on sound lot more crazy, so just get over it and accept the fact that we live with a ghost. We have. *sheesh.*"
They didn't joke about it. They were totally serious. It was kind of like - You're sitting on a chair, if you don't want to believe the chair is there, that's your problem, but there it is.Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.Comment

Nah, don't believe in ghosts. I do believe in demons though because the bible does talk about them. They impersonate people to make people think they are dead people really alive...Comment

One night ago something called out my name while I was lying on my bed (that does not sound right does it) so I flicked on the lights and went back to sleep with them on. I believe there are spirits in all of us that have a destination when we die. Because they have a destination, I don't think they're hanging around Earth to be heard or seen. I do believe in people's trapped energy..or spirit or ghost.
Easy to sense and feel in people for me.
I've had my share of experiences that have long convinced me.
Hearing and reading from other people is one thing but when I get first hand experience and can't find any solid proof of logic or reasoning, then I realize there is something more supernatural.Comment

Ghosts, demons, spirits, fairies, vampires, werewolves, bigfoot, yetis, chupacabras, la llorona, el Caballo del Diablo, el Ánima de Sayula, a partridge on a pear tree...nah...all hogwash to me...
P.S. Extraterrestrials yes...but not here on Earth....distances are too vast for them to ever get here...no matter how advanced they are.
Witches exist too...but they are nothing more than goth Wicca chicks...

I did experienced "ghosts" when I was a kid...but now when I reflect on those experiences as an adult...I can explain everything logically and realistically.sigpicComment
