Really glad to hear it Thomas!!
I think I meant to post in this thread back in Nov.
I found what helped me (it was 6 years smoke free this fall), was to celebrate the anniversarys (1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month etc etc).
It's hard to describe, but I always swelled with pride on my anniversary days. For people who have never been truly addicted to anything, they can't even imagine how hard quitting is. Quitting smoking was my Mount Everest, once I knew that I had truly quit (about the 1 month mark) I just knew I could do anything if I really wanted to. Still have some vices, but all in due time.
