      Eddie Murphy was one of the funniest most charasmatic guys ever after his first few movies. beverly hills Cop weas the culmination for me. After that, he never quite had that same magic. He completely makes this movie.

        Man, I haven't seen that movie since the late 80s. And I love Trading Places too.

          As an aside - it's a pretty decent director commentary. He talks a lot about the Stallone thing.

                    I OD'd on this movie and 48Hrs in the 80's courtesy of those old RCA Selectavision discs.

                    I can still play most of both movies back in my head. Funny stuff!
