Two of my favorite Happy Days memories was

1: Howard helping Richie to bed when he experiences getting drunk for the first time. He was patient and understanding. I think being a dad, he was abe to relate to Richie, but had a tougher time with Joannie.

2: At the end of the episode where Howard and Marion return home from a trip to find Richie and Potsie had some girls over. After they left, Howard wants to hear what happened and Richie asks him," What do you want to hear first? The truth? Or the big lie we were going to tell everyone at school?"
Howard's reply, "Why don't we start with the lie." I loved that scene.

Rest in Peace Tom Bosley. You will be missed.
Loved your post fbf! I could totally relate to your view on his career
with special Happy Days moments and being a comforting face for GLAD bag spots.

    On the lighter side...
somebody on facebook mentioned Chuck'd probably be a no show at the funeral... I had to chuckle at that.

Dang! That's sad! I remember the cartoon 'Wait Til Your Father Gets Home'. I watched it every time it came on.

RIP Mr. Cunningham. You will be missed.

Like everyone who grew up in the era when HAPPY DAYS ruled the ratings Ill always have a place in my heart for MR. C. You never heard bad things about him unlike todays stars.
Just the other day I saw a rerun of Happy Days and i had not seen it in years. Hopefully they will have a Happy Days Marathon but in these days of Reality TV they probably won't.
Heres a memory we will all remember. The final episode of Happy Days.

HAPPY DAYS finale you posted... DAYS really felt like a show I grew up with
and Bosley's speech followed by the montage was just perfect to celebrate
              that.

Besides Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home and Happy Days and all that came after, he was on Broadway in a famous show that really isn't done anymore because no one really knows who Mayor La Guardia was anymore. Here is a nice write up: Tom Bosley, ‘Happy Days’ Dad, Dies at 83 - Obituary (Obit) - NYTimes.com
                It's all good!

A great tv dad, but more personally, part of my fond childhood memories of watching Happy Days on the little black and white tv in my sisters room. They didn't quite have small color tv's perfected yet (mid 70's) so, if my sister or me wanted to watch something my parents didn't want to watch in the living room, we went in her room and turned on the little b&w tv. Happy Days was the biggest show at the time. RIP Mr. Bosley.

It's nice that Hub has been putting a little memorial to Tom before each ep of Happy Days.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
