And those were done 21 years ago...Only problem is that WPIX chopped about 3 - 4 minutes out of each episode and condensed the episodes into one hour episodes with no ending credits after the 1st part of the 2 parters. It's a shame too because the color is a lot richer than some of the bootleg stuff. Still gonna dupe them to DVD because the color is that nice on them...make sort of a "WPIX Batman TV Series" version.
    I have the WPIX Batman on tape too and agree the colors are very good. Wow can't believe I taped those 20 years ago.......

      >Do any of my fellow Canadians know if the Batman 66 is broadcast in the Great White North?

      It was on a year or two back, on the racing channel (Speed) for some reason. (Same with the Green Hornet.) I saw a couple episodes, and they looked like newly mastered digital.

        Digging this back up because of the geeky goodness on Hub tonight. It's the Batman episode with The Green Hornet and the bad guy is the one who played Harry Mudd on Star Trek.

          The Hub from what I've read is skipping a few episodes that they deem offensive. The Egghead one with Chief Screaming Chicken and one of the Shame ones with an American Indian, too.

            ^ Plus they're all over the board and aren't showing them in any sort of order....All supposedly to cut back on people trying to DVR the series....

              Well it ain't working!

              And it's not like I can't choose which ones and in what order I want to send to the burner.

                Isn't this the height of stupidity. They can't release the damn things in a DVD boxed set but they can still pimp them out in syndication. Instructions to network: please don't show them in order to frustrate people who might otherwise enjoy them and/or record them!!!

                  That doesn't stop anyone from transferring if you use something like this;

                  http://www.soft29.com/dvr_to_pc_computer.html

                  Run it from the DVR to your PC/laptop, put them in order which is easy to do since on Direct TV you can see the original air date, then burn baby burn!!

                  Where there is a will (and a free program) there is a way!

                  And yes, as some of you have guessed correctly via our pms, this is my next project after I am done with the Japanese Spiderman.
