Bassist and play major chords on guitar.
Huge fan of Rickenbackers (both guitars and basses) and hollowbody basses.

These days, with the internet, it's so much easier to learn how to play songs on guitar. You can just go to YouTube and find instructional videos for most of the popular songs that you might want to learn. The people showing you how to play the songs are usually not exactly correct, but it's a great way to get started and work out the details yourself if you're a stickler for playing songs just like the album. Also, there are a lot of acoustic guitarists on there showing how they arrange acoustic versions of rock songs. It's really quite amazing seeing so much information online!
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Agreed.. On MSN Videos, I found a guy who showed a great way to do all the riffs for 'Brown-eyed Girl'.. Made it a lot easier to play.

Same for 'Jumpin Jack Flash'.. Just downloaded them on to my iPod.
