Does anyone play the Guitar?

I have been playing for about twelve years now. I mostly play rhythm, but I can handle lead.

It's a great hobby, I try to play for at least thirty minutes a day.

Both my sons play guitar. My daughter plays violin. All three play piano. I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I've played for a long time, Had many guitars. Been absolutely lovin my Jackson Dinky for a while, also have an Ovation EA. And get this, I'm a righty that plays lefty. lol

I love Todays technology. Right now I'm looking into getting some Home recording equipment that goes directly into your Computer(the M2 Box).

I played the guitar when I was a kid but quit lessons as I didn't want to play hymns. I bought a guitar this year and have been trying to teach myself. It's probably my favourite instrument.

That's about what I do.. I do a LOT of scale work (penatonic minor, major, etc..). If you can get scales down, you can do SO MUCH lead work.. It's all in the basics.

Been playing for over 25yrs, blues, jazz, classical (with my wide neck nylon string..). Also learning slide guitar.., playing along with B.B. King CDs as background. I'd love to learn violin next.

I was doing a couple of gigs a year, putting bands together for a night here or there.., now just playing with my church orchestra a few times a year.

I started playing after High school when I was working afternoons,seems like a long time ago now,still have a Charvel Jackson I play around with.
