At 12 years old I wouldn't hold the girl 100% responsible for her actions.
That's her parents job.
The 17 year old boy, on the other hand is 100% responsible.
Some time in jail and having to register as a sex offender might clear his head
yeah man, what's he thinking? at 17 i would'nt even look twice at a 12 year old, especially with all the hot girls in HS...this guy must be a real pathetic loser going after youngling's like that
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
I'll take anything I can get for a laugh there (I was actually quoting the
Prince...Eddie Murphy...in COMING TO AMERICA!)

Eewww..no. So many issues here. Most likely the 12 year has a crush on the 17 year old and it is the 17 year old's responsibility to recognize it for what it is and not encourage it.
I would agree he needs help. When I was 17 I was not popular with the ladies. But I never considered someone that young to the answer.
I thought I was so grown up when I was 12. I had the body of a well-endowed 18 year old (and the hormones to match). I guess for me, it comes down to whether or not sex is included in dating.
If they just enjoy each other's company then so be it, but I think it would probably be hard for both of them to keep it to that, and therefore just asking for trouble. If they can keep it on a platonic level until a more appropriate age, then good luck to them.
