I've never been much of a pet-person myself, let alone a dog lover, but that all changed this past Christmas.

Some of you got to meet my dog (and best pal) Jai at Megomeet this year. Thank goodness the hotel was so incredibly dog-friendly! He's a Labradoodle.

        Border Collie.

I swear my Border Collie is too smart for her own own sake. Who else has a dog that does something wrong, then without me saying a word she punishes herself by going in her crate and waits be be released.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

          Border Collies are great dogs.

I had Border Collie mix from around 1973-1987-ish

I grew up with that dog and loved him a lot.

I love them all and have 3, but my shepard/collie mix is the smartest dog I have ever seen. His name is Sundance.

After I got my first one as an abused stray I fell in love with Lhasa Apsos. My second one lived to be 13 and he was my best friend. I still miss them both. My wife grew up with Danes. Since our house isn't large enough for a Dane we made a compromise and got a black Lab named Zoe. She is a sweetheart and I adore her.

When we finally end up on the farm in PA we will have plenty of room so I will get another Lhasa and Maggy will have a Dane. We are also going to run an animal rescue.

Here is a thumbnail (click for larger image) of Zoe relaxing in the trailer that we stay at when we visit the farm.

I've always wanted an English Bulldog. And of course I'd have to call him Spike...named after the Bulldog on Sylvester & Tweety.

I take it you mean a dog? Or you planning on becoming a promoter?

SPCA Mutts... Or for the posh amongst us, Lurchers... A mix of sight hound and herder.

here's my boys after 10 months without a shave...

                      The dark-faced one is a Briard/Otterhound.

                      The light-faced one is a Wolfhound/Collie cross.

The Wolfie-X is uncannily smart; the Briard-X runs the household security. (He takes his job very seriously...)

Yeah, because Snoop NEVER engages in any sort of behavior that would give him incontrollable munchies.

Also, your dog is awesome. I love a good shepherd mix.
