Been collecting for 40 plus years. On and off in the 70s and 80s, heavy in the 90's and slowed down again in the 00s! Thousands upon thousands of them. Some date all the way back to the late 1800's!

I'm going to assume we are also excluding Sports Cards. Excluding duplicates, I have every single one of those I have ever laid hands on within six feet of my reach right now.
I had most, if not all, of the Elvis Cards back in the day, but I presume them to be long gone. Mom has a way of surprising me with the things she has kept, though.
Star Wars was one that I remember buying, but I traded all of them for more Football and Baseball cards.
One of the sets I would love to have is any and all of the Mars Attacks cards from any of its releases.
The cards sparked parental and community outrage over the graphic violence and implied sexuality depicted on the cards. Topps responded initially by repainting 13 of the cards to reduce the gore and sexuality, then, following inquiries from a Connecticut district attorney, agreed to halt production completely.Comment

Was just looking for non-sport cards this morning and found some at the flea market. Managed to finish Charlies Angels series one & the 80s Elvis set. Also a couple Olivia art sets, and found a handful of Orange border Star wars.
Anybody interested in a trading ring?
If anyone has these cards extra for sale or trade, I only need a couple to finish sets:

I was big of them as a kid. I had some of everything, Star Wars, Happy Days, Superman movie cards etc. I ended up selling the wooden box I had full of them at a garage sale when I was in my teens. So the only survivors are various wrestling cards I still find around from time.Comment

I have and kind of collect non sports cards from the 70's and 80's as well as sports cards mainly baseball. My collection is pretty vast. I like buying unopened wax packs and wax boxes as well as cases to.
Like a lot of others here I really did not set out to collect all of them per se, but a lot of these just kind of made it my way with little to any effort. Some day I will go through them all and see what all I really do have.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I had boxes and boxes of football and baseball cards from when I was a kid, mainly every Steeler card ever made.Sold them all back in 1993,we were about to get married and buying our first house.Made out pretty good on them I think, compared to what you see stuff selling for now.Like a lot of things the market for them changes greatly.Comment
