I cannot say that I have really seen any kind of a really wild or unsual animal in the wild. I have seen some at the zoo but that does not really count. The most action that I have seen around here in MO when my gf and I are here in the summer is a red fox on rare occasion, deer from time to time, possums, ground hogs, rabbits, squirrels, maybe an eagle and some Chicken Hawks.

As you can see I am pretty deprived of the "Wild life that surrounds me". I am not a big outdoors person so that may stand to reason why I do not see anything more rare.

I have always had the thought of seeing a Cougar when I am out side (not a milf) I see them on a regular basis.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I'd say you are VERY fortunate! I envy you.
My last sighting was nearly a decade ago. The bird was only about 10 yards away. Compared to other woodpeckers, this thing is enormous. My encounter only lasted about 10 seconds. My mother was visiting so she got to see it too. Since that time, there have been sightings on the Fort Benning reservation. I live way out in the woods, so I hope to get another glimpse one day.

That's only slightly less rare than seeing Palitoy drunkenly poop in the Mego Suite hot tub.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Was that why that thread existed about "who stayed in room 232" or something like that. LOL!!

My friend and I saw...something that till this day we cannot explain.

While driving home from school down a back country road we both saw something cross the street about fifty or so yards ahead of us. On either side of the road were fenced-in tobacco fields. What we saw cross the street was no taller than 12 inches and ran on two legs.

                Two freakin legs!

We stopped to see if we could find out what it was, but it was outta there. It may have been one of those running lizards that aren't all that rare except that there aren't any native to Kentucky. We still joke to this day that we saw a gnome. I'm not 100 percent sure we didn't.

We used to Run from Moose when I was a Kid, and Lived in Alaska..... They were everywhere . Bear too ..., in the Summer time, when We went fishing.

1st time I seen a Possum , I freaked out. I had never seen 1 before. I thought it was some sorta Mutated Sewer Rat, and it was like 1 am in the Morning ..., And Honestly at the time, I could have been influenced on something here or there too.

The animal itself isn't rare at all, but when I was a teen I had a pet American toad that was the largest one I've ever seen. It body was almost five inches long, longer than the largest one on record. I kept him as a pet for a few years, he was really tame, I could feed him by hand. I finally let him go though. OK, that's all I got.

I never see any rare animals - which makes sense since I don't like leaving the city and hate camping with a passion.

We live in a fairly rural area and see many forms of wildlife on a frequent basis. Animals that we see on a semi-regular basis include: Deer, Elk, Fox, Coyote, Bobcat, Bald Eagles are being sighted more and more frequently, Osprey, Black Bear...which are certainly around as I've seen many photos from friends and have come across droppings, yet have not had an offical sighting. Wolves have offically been sighted in Michigan's Lower Penninsula too, though I have yet to see.
