I think that is how everyone starts out at least.
It is good to know that you are a responsible drinker.
There is nothing wrong with drinking in moderation in my opinion. 
I no longer drink for the most part as I stopped on my own free will many, many moons ago.
I still drink an occasional glass of wine with a nice steak dinner once in a while. Or to celebrate a special occasion every so often.
I might even break down and have one beer with my buds if I am in the mood. Providing that it is bottled and ice cold.
I do not do warm or canned beer at all.
I will still buy my friends a round though when I am out.
Just because I do not drink that much does not mean that everyone around me has to stop. I just prefer that they do it responsible when they are around me that is all. 
There is drinking for leisure and then there is drinking gone wild. I never really seen the fun of waking up with a hang over not remembering the night before and or puking one's guts out.
Then again though that is just me and to each their own.
