Well my kids love Batman and Robin. It them, it's a classic. I'm not much of a fan, but I can see the joy from their perspective.

I think any list will always be subjective, but I also wouldn't justify the pros and cons by what "the kids" like. We're talking about all films from any genre' so your looking at movies with a variety of audiences with different expectations. I wasn't surprised B&R hit the top spot because that subject encompasses such a broad cross section of the population with generations of hardcore fans who have expectations for their hero. Just because a section of kids like it doesn't mean it satisfied it's core base (because the box office returns for this installment was the worst in the series). Those same kids might also give a thumbs up to watching SpongBob Square pants every day. But that doesn't mean I'm suppose to tune in with them.No offense meant, but dumbing down the audience and saying it was really just for little kids was NOT the goals of this film. It was not a SYFY movie of the week and it wasn't made to air on Nickelodeon. It was part of a big money making franchise that was intended to satisfy a much bigger audience. Both the studio and director failed miserably. It was such a flop that it shut down the franchise for many years. Now there will always be fans for ANY movie made out there. But this one does seem to hold a fairly large cross section of people who dislike it...immensely.

You guys are listing some films I really like for rotten ones!
I remember one day I walked into my mom's room and saw her watching Batman and Robin! Which shocked the heck outta me, b/c she didn't usually go for the superhero stuff, but from what she told me, she enjoyed it!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I can see it being one of the most depised, sure but it's far from the worst. It's a lousy but coherant film.
I'm not even sure it's the worst Batman movie, I saw the serials on the big screen once, they're hiliarious!Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

While not the worst movie ever made, B&R is probably the worst big budget movie ever made, in the fact that they strayed so far from a proven formula, had a huge budget, huge stars ,etc. Someone should have, and could have stopped that train wreck before it left the station. My son loves it, even though he's starting to understand the lamer aspects of it now.
Godzilla 98 was a re-invention of the Godzilla concept, and was a misfire, but they were trying something new. It sucked, but other than borrowing the idea of Godzilla, it's essentially it's own animal, so no bench mark to go by. Batman and Robin had three previously successful films to gauge themselves by.
Whenever my son is watching it, and Clooney whips out the Bat-Credit card, I turn to my wife and say "Hear that? That's the sound of a movie franchise going down the toilet."

I saw a Paris Hilton National Lampoon that was the worst film I have ever sat in a theatre to watch. My buddy said it would be like Porkys.
Acting, script and whatever aside half the film looked like it was shot on video.
and at the end Hilton had it coming but her ego wouldnt let her so she messed it up with some sort of cop out narration.
It was so bad.
The 1970s all puppet porn musical was pretty bad too. "Make my Puppets Come"Comment
