This is why it's all subjective right?

I could watch Police Academy movies all day and all night. There is something comforting about seeing the same characters played by the same people doing the same jokes over and over and over and over again. It's the Police Academy TV series that I can't stand (and a buddy of mine was in it).

Not saying the Police Academy movies are "quality" entertainment, but I grew up watching them (and Friday the 13th sequels) and there are many other movies that I find unwatchable.

watched the Nostalgia Crtic review I love him and Angry Video Game Nerd.

Don't really feel like complaining about what the Brave and the Bold cartoon creator would call a "Baby Man" Only wants HIS charaters the way HE knows them. Yet how else would he know of Batman? From his age I'm guessing in his childhood Batman wasnt dark yet.

I agreee with Lorenzo from 66 Batman , Flash Gordon, and Reel Geezers. It's a riduculous idea anyway. The man invented camp and I love him.

In Defence of Shummacer he mad the super great movie "Falling Down".

On the other hand this was the first time I went to a Superhero movie and felt unhexcited about it since Supergirl and to be honest I havent really gotten excited since. And Batman 2 WAS too creepy.

The Mr Freeze story won an award when they did it for the cartoon I think thats why they used it. I liked the scene in the ice cave with arnold in the dressing robe. That was it. Liked seeing Dr Woodrue.

I assume this is American only?
I saw an AWFUL indonesian film at SIFF last year, " Blind Pig Who Wants To Fly" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1129405/
It was so bad that more than half the audience left. We stayed assuming it would get better. NO CHANCE. Time that I will never get back.
Another bad one I saw was made locally called "Humpday": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334537/
The only reason why it did well at SIFF last year was because the director is friends with the SIFF board and Seattle Weekly, who mainly sponsers the event. We rented this one and I just down right could not stand it. Bad acting and lame storyline.

You mean to tell me Horror at Rocky Party Beach has been dethroned as worst ever?

As for you guys who hated the Abyss, I would like to remind you that CMonster worked on the film. It's enough to say you didn't like it but maybe don't keep beating a dead horse.

B&R was a very bad movie but this is so subjective. I vote for Titanic . . I knew how it was going to end so what's the point? (plus that song from Celine Dione)
              I agree 100%

For me, it was The Year of Living Dangerously. My dad and I went to see it, and sat there, waiting for something to happen. AFter an hour of wasted time, we walked out; it was THAT dreadful.

I've seen a couple of turkeys in my day, some of them modern, a couple of them old, but they had one thing in common: They sucked turkey eggs and rotten turkey eggs at that!

                  1. Parts: The Clonus Horror. This was REALLY bad.
                  2. Cable Guy.
                  3. Hook. Robin Williams tried his best, but he was just too OLD for the part!
                  4. Corvette Summer. Mark Hamill hides in shame when this flop is mentioned.
                  5. Empire of the Ants.
                  6. Attack of the Lepus.
                  7. King Kong 1977.
                  8. Dangerous Liasons.
                  9. Jaws 3.
                  10. Superman-The Quest for Peace. (I forget what number it is.)

I thought Plan 9 from outer space was the worst movie, followed by Gigli. I do think Batman and Robin is in the top five though.

I must cast my vote for Cabin Fever. My wife and I didn't walk out, but when the movie was over, we wondered why we hadn't. Everyone around us did as well.

Movies listed on thread as the worst movie of all time (in order best to worst):

I disagree with the poster on:

                                Judge Dredd was great

Toxic Avenger was freakin awesome - what's wrong with you?

Hook. good family movie Robin Williams was NOT too OLD for the part - the plot centered around the fact he grew up.

Revenge of the Nerds was AWESOME maybe your still in nerd denial?

Moonraker - the cheesiest of all the bond films but FUN FUN FUN. The space shuttle, Jaws c'mon. it is the one with halle and newest bond that bite it.

Independence Day. - are you kidding I love this.

I liked the Abyss - alot

Evita - I liked it - nothing great but certainly not a bad movie

Cable Guy - not good but better than several of carey's other film (when nature calls)

Titanic - predictable ending - yes. Just like Avatar but people seem to disregard this. and we got to see Kate Winslet. I thought i would hate it but i actually liked titanic

I liked Howard the Duck. Sure it was disposable entertainment but it was entertaining.

Batman and Robin is Bad but there are A LOT of films worse and it has redeeming qualities.

                                __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ________

Now to get to the movies I agree with you on:

                                Ballistic - really bad

Chronicles of Riddick - is theis the first one? if so i thought it was bad but not the worst movie. the sequels were worse but still not the worst

Avatar - this movie ranks up there for me in the worst category for the same reasons they selected B&R - see my previous post (mainly unmet expectations)

Battefiled earth - bad - i have seen many worse

King Kong 1977 not really bad

Burton's Planet of the Apes - oh man i hated this

Eyes Wide Shut was absolutely terrible (exceptions noted)

Corvette Summer. mostly unmemorable not really that terrible - having Hamill in it raised expectations. unfortunately we all saw he can't act. in SW he was a perfect fit for hte role. by RotJ he couldn't grow with the character

Jaws 3. -Awful (i saw it in 3D even)

Cabin Fever. I wanted to like it. too bad it was dumb

Revenge of the nerds 2 was fairly dumb but mostly forgettable.

Godzilla 98 was HORRIBLE I want my time back they stole. Though there are still even worse movies.

Romeo and Juliet with Leo DeCaprio - oh yeah I hated that

the jack black King Kong was the worst King Kong 1977 not really bad

Dangerous Liasons. OH YEAH I am with you here I couldn't finish it

Police Academy part-6 - Amaen brother tis and the other sequel formula movie are probably the worst. (Beetoven 19 anyone? - Air bud 13?)

Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 - these are real contenders for worst ever.

the director's cut - of any movie is worse than the released version - there is a reason we have editors and test audiences - so we don't have to see the director's cut

Or every Chick-Flick ever made (at least most)

MOSTLY THE MOVIES YOU LISTED ARE MOVIES YOU WANTED TO LIKE. YOU FAILED TO LIST THE OODLES OF REALLY BAD CHICK FLICKS MY WIFE HAS WATCHED - THE ONES THAT ANNOY ME SO BAD I HAVE TO LEAVE THE ROOM.
