AP has never been good to LSU. USC and CAL lose to unranked teams and stay in or near the top 10 (CAL is #11 today), LSU loses to a #17 team (ranked #9 now) and drops to #7. It is a popularity contest with AP.

The only poll that counts comes out tomorrow.

As for USF winning out and taking the crystal ball, I would love it. I love Cinderella stories like this.

The AP and BCS polls are on the money pretty much I think but with all the time left who knows how things will end up. Still I don't see Georgia at #20 ahead of UT after the throttling UT gave them. I wish for the day when a playoff system could be put in place. Too many good teams have been overlooked by the BCS and I hate the idea of a shared National Championship.

I agree Tim,I'd love to see a playoff system ,at least with the top 4 ranked schools 1 plays 3 and 2 plays 4 winners meet in the National Championship

I don't like the idea of a play-off, I like the tradition of the bowl games. The newest BCS system is pretty accurate and there will never be a shared title again with this new system.
