I have bought lots of toys I really wnated to have but never did as a kid. Also have picked up movies/tv shows that I remember being so cool when I was little and then watching as an adult find myself sorely disappointed.

My dad had a '78 Rallye Pinto all tricked out from the factory. Must have been a collector's item since Ford contacted him wanting to buy it back. Never did sell but later years he was stolen and trashed. :(

The gas tank debacle was fixed in '76, so I am safe.

Oh yea. A couple of years ago I bought an illuminated blow-mold haunted house Halloween decoration at a flea market. We had the green one when I was growing up. But this one was orange. I only bought it since I still had the green one and now have a pair.

Those blow molded decorations from our era has really went up in price have they not? Kind of like the old aluminum Christmas trees that shot up in value.

Well, I hadn't see the photo before and I think it's cool that you posted it!

Yep, I've been there! But some of them hold up. It's so cool to watch a DVD of something that you haven't seen since you were a kid and it's still cool!
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.
