Sorry. I just took the thread heading at face value. I didn't know how it related to you personally. I certainly hope you survive this change! I wish you the very best!

      Thanks.....

I guess I was just under the impression that most who know me here are aware I work for DC Comics..... 10 plus years!

It's not set in stone, is it? Maybe DC will just open an LA branch?

I hope everything works out in your favour AJ.

I don't get their strategy at all. First of all they needed hit movies so they picked "The Losers" and "Jonah Hex"? Then they hired directors with no action movie experience?

To be fair, "Jonah Hex" had some hype from comic fans right up until clips of the movie started appearing and it looked cartoonishly goofy and "Van Helsing" level stupid.

That's upsetting, I had my company relocate from under me last year. But yeah, new beginnings!

So has there been an official announcement in your offices or are you left to ponder your future by what you can glean from the media?

I think from a business standpoint it would be a disaster for DC to uproot from NY. NYC it a publishing powerhouse, and to move from there would be suicidal. Just look at Marvel, still here even though Disney is miles and miles away...

What would be interesting karma is when the San Andreas decides to give, and it will, it will take DC with it. Move to L.A. is good for the immediate but bad for the long run.
I left L.A. long ago and my parents will be following as well.

As for comics, well, film rules, be it TV, movies or online. Everything is moving in that direction. Makes sense to focus on that area before you are left behind. Whole you business paradigm for comics and entertainment. Can't live in the past, only see what is ahead.

The buzz is that no official announcement would be made until after Comic Con.....
