did any chick in the 80's rock harder then Pat Benatar

I love Pat, i've been listening to her a lot lately... 2 of my all time favorite songs are by her ,"We Belong" and "Invincible"

I was to young to remember how her career was in the 80's but I bet no one was better huh? she freakin' rocks

she's still doing concerts, it's a shame she'll be nowhere near Miami

while I love Pat and she forsure rock ... Joan Jett was by far a harder rocker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RAQXg0IdfI

here in silverton we have some good acts come to the oregon gardens ... Benatar was there last year or the year before ... but sadly I was out of town. but have been told she will come back, I hope she does.

Pat Benatar and her husband (Neil Giraldo) seem to perform here at least once a year for the last several years now...

Joan Jett Rocked Harder than Pat Benatar...and I think both are fellow Long Islanders. Pat, I think went to Babylon school system here on Long Island. IMO, Joan rocked harder than Pat did...but both were great in their day.

And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
            The beauty that surrounds them
            Isn't it a pity".

Because I was never a big fan of Joan Jett I kind of consider her a 1 hit wonder aka - I love Rock and Roll.

Pat Benatar was a way bigger star at the time.

Pat had a lot of rock/pop crossover hits.

Can't go wrong with either Pat or Joan. I have both of theit greatest hits. I think Joan was a little "harder" - don't forget her days with the Runaways - but Pat was awesome too!

PB was the first chick I thought of when I read the partial title of the thread. But imo, when comes to women rockers, nobody lays it down like Heart.
