No Tv in bedroom but i do stay up finishing freelance assigments so when i do lay down on the sofa in the living room...I instantly will pass out unless I'm watching sports or the Swedish Bikini team.....

Never had a TV in the bedroom, and can't sleep in front of one, the exception was during the "dark days" of kids 0- 18 months old when I could have fallen asleep base-jumping ...

Sleep timer and out in under 5 mins.

I cannot watch television in a horizontal position.
            Its my sleeping pill.

I fell asleep once watching Star Trek's City on the Edge of Forever.

I woke up with the "Guardian theme" in my head and could not get it out all day.

I like to fall asleep to old movies or TV shows. I will put a disc on auto repeat usually. A great movie to fall asleep by is Forbidden Planet. The movie's tonalities are soothing.

I'm a TV person on too. Set timer for 2 hours. Fall asleep to various things. If I really want to go out fast Law and Order does the trick.

Sometimes I fall asleep watching TV and sometimes while I'm online,( because I have a recliner next to the table my computer is on). I would wake up with dozens of IM's on AOL from different people:

                    Hey John, what's up?

                    John, Are you there?

                    Hello, John?

                    John, zzzzzzzzz..........

Can't stand noise on at bedtime.
I need complete silence and darkness...
I'm a very light sleeper and once I'm up I'm up.

It happens to me all the time! Usually after I've eaten. I know at this point to stay sitting up when I watching TV if I want to stay awake.
