Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Mad World, all great songs...and Songs from the Big Chair album is a personal favorite of mine.

Nothing embarrassing about liking Tears for Fears...nothing...

I'm with you there. Dennis Miller used Everybody Wants to Rule the World for his theme music.

One time Blockbuster was having a clearance sale on previously viewed tapes and I picked up Duran Duran's Girls on Film video. I had only seen it on MTV so I was shocked to see that this was a very ADULT version (unedited?) of that song with boobies and everything.
      That tape somehow disappeared.

Boy...they are both pretty bad...but I had a "thing" for Vanity at the time...lol...
      I still like 'Pretty Mess'.
I still have her poster and a Vanity 6 LP as well.

It's funny because I've noticed that about 80% of what people are listing are some of my favorite songs/albums.

Totally not embarrassed but I remember getting excited when I found this CD was released:

      Love it!

Great stuff! For the record, I still enjoy listening to Tears for Fears and Duran Duran

Another one I bought that I'm not embarrassed about, but it is not in my preferred music list these days is Le Freak by Chic. At least at the time I bought it it was in the top 10.

I am surprised no one has mentioned "disco duck" I don't even have that one
        It's all good!

Oh, there's a lot of Partridge fans out there, trust me.. Great production efforts on their albums, very polished.

Plastic..? Yeah, so what..? Still LOVE a nice, clean production. Great music.
