Getting Blasted By heat In NJ

Been hot and humid here in Kentucky for awhile now. My last electric bill was $60.00 higher than the previous month. I sleep during the hottest part of the day, so without the AC going all the time I'd smother.

Yeah, I was living at the lake all weekend. 100 degree weather here as well. I'll take it over the snow we had this past winter any day.

Yeah, here in Louisville, we haven't had rain in about three weeks. Most days it's in the mid to upper 90's. Of course anymore I'm use to it. The weather around here, in general, borders on being biblical. We either have long droughts or heavy flooding. Not enjoying the electric bill right now either.

Worked outside all day yesterday and got my summer tan in 1 day!
We hit 94 in my part of the world.
Good thing we got the pool.

I just got back from my Honeymoon (Florida, Key West, Bahamah's). It was hot no question, but I didn't find it unbearably so.
Coulda been the ocean breeze for the first five days (Disney cruise) and we were in and out of the AC for the next five (Disney world theme parks), but I was expecting a lot worse. Now I'm back in Canada and the heat here is just killing me, I don't know what it is during the day but it's hot. At least the nights are cooling off.

We've been in the 90's for over 50 straight days. Todays heat index is 105. We'll be 96, 98, and 97 the rest of the week. I'm always amzaed when places that aren't typically hot have a small heat wave and it makes the news. Makes me laugh.

For the past 50-ish years it's been standard for NY, NJ and PA to have overly hot sweltering summers.

Must be part of global warming or something.
