Hey Sandy. Ever had any concerns about one of them getting into the cage through the openings?
No, not at all. Contrary to popular belief, the sharks aren't trying to get into the cage to eat you. There's plenty of bait and food in the water to eat. We tie tuna to ropes and put them under floats to get the get sharks to come in close. I have a whole album of pix of the sharks feeding, etc... I grew up on and in the water, so there's really no fear, just respect. I know the animal and what it's capable of. I've had many encounters with all kinds of sharks, in the oceans all over the world. They've taken speared fish right from my hands in some cases, but I've never been bitten or "attacked". They are very fascinating and misunderstood creatures.
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"
