Have you ever dressed up as your favourite character?

I don't know if this has been done before (since I'm new), but I thought it would be fun if people posted pictures of themselves dressed as their favourite comic book/action/sci-fi (etc.) character.
I'll start it off. This is me dressed as Lara Croft for Halloween a couple of years ago:

There are actually a lot of pictures from that night where you can see the costume better, but I look horrendously skinny in the rest of them, and refuse to post.

I made the gun holsters myself, out of duct tape (double-sided, I didn't actually just wrap duct tape around my legs, that would have been a whole world of pain). It actually took a long-time to find the guns, because of the laws about fake guns looking too much like real ones. I finally found them in a dollar store in China Town.
I'm thinking Wonder Woman for this year, but the costumes are all really skanky, or The Huntress, but I would have to make that full costume myself since I'm sure I wouldn't be able to buy one.

Nice pic! I did have a made up Captain America costume as a kid. It was pretty lame but still it was fun! I'll see if I can hunt down a picture.

I have a couple pictures of me at Halloween with KISS makeup on. I'll see if I can track them down.

I do it all the time for Halloween. But I don't have pics. In adult years, I've been:

                The Six Million Dollar Man
Vincent from Beauty and the Beast
                Mr. Spock
Dr. Bashir (from Star Trek DS9)
                Duncan MacLeod The Highlander
Planet of the Apes (soldier chimp, I had a soldier costume and a Corny mask)
                GI Joe Land Adventurer

People often ask me why I'm always a guy. Well, I'm a girl all year long, I can be a boy one day a year. This year I'm gonna be Evel Knievel!

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Your avatar reminds me, one year when I was around 10, I dressed up as Ace (always my favourite member) for Halloween. My mother did a great job on the makeup, and a pretty good job on a shirt that looked close to his Destroyer outfit. Unfortunately it stopped at the shirt, completing the look with blue jeans and brown cowboy boots kind of ruined the whole effect a bit. The makeup and long haired wig looked pretty great though. I don't think there were any photos taken.

I'd dress in a Superman costume someday, but my Halloween costume would ahve to be be limited to a DC Comics Elseworlds-style "In Desperate Need of Sit-Ups" Superman. Or maybe "Lazy, Unmotivated" Superman. Or "Fritos" Superman.

Maybe I could just pretend that red Kryptonite made Superman blond and overweight.

Great thread. Perfect timing for Halloween.

I've honestly had to work for the last however many Halloweens. This year, I'm taking the whole week off for vacation. Kinda cool since my Birthday is on the 30th. I used to have great fun those two days during college.

I think I'll try to live a little this year and do the dress-up thing. I think I look more like Mr. Fantastic (greying at the temples) than the nerd who plays him in the recent movies; hopefully less wussified too. Heck, let me hookup with Jessica Alba as Invisible Girl, I'll show her some stretching.

Plus, when else does a grown man have a chance to wear full body spandex??

                        I ask you?

You guys are awesome! I'm definitely enjoying the costume choices so far, but we need some pics people (other than just one of me).

Kaye you are extremely attractive! I'd say go for the Huntress costume this year. After watching Justice League I have a newfound respect for that character and her look. Looking at this pic I'd say you are Huntress material.

I have a pic of me dressed as Moon Knight from the 6th grade but my Dad won't dig out the old family pics just for me to post it here. I also made a life size Acroyear Micronaut helmet in High School but not a costume to go with it. I don't have the helmet or pics of it anymore either.

Living in NY I could dress-up and march in the Halloween parade in the Village in Manhattan every year if I wanted to. I am just too lazy to do it.
