Anyone here ever go boating ?

Back when I was still young and full of something besides gas, I used to go canoeing quite a bit. Kind of have to when you live where I do.
Used to go boating all the time when we would visit the relatives in british columbia as well.

Havent been in a boat now for probably 15 years!

I have a canoe. Mainly day trips down the river. I haven't done the canoe tripping/camping thing for years. Not enough time, and sleeping on a mattress pad in a damp sleeping bag just doesn't have the thrill it used to.

I have a cottage on a long narrow lake (a remnant of an ancient river, actually) and once I get a garage built my intent is to acquire a sailboat to keep out there permanently.

It's been a while since I've been boating but it's alot of fun. A few years back I went white river rafting. I couldn't believe how much fun I had. I need to set up another trip like that. I highly recommend it.

Well, let's see...

When I was 11 I went fishing/crabbing w/ my dad, his girlfriend and their kids. Got 17 crabs, 2 fish.

When I was married I went waterskiing (I didn't ski) w/ my ex-hubby and his brother.

After my divorce, my boyfriend and I rented a boat and went fishing and I actually caught something, (I can't remember what kind of fish). Since he worked at the watersports club outside the hotel, he had the hotel chef prepare it for us that night. It was very good.

My sister and her husband have a pretty nice boat, and sometimes I go boating with them, it's really fun.
