When I was a kid in NYC, folks looked down their noses at Spam b/c only folks on welfare ate it. I did try it though when I was an adult, (and didn't listen to all the dumb stereotypes!) It's not half-bad.

Yes I don't eat it now but when i was younger I use to make it with a Coke reduction as a sauce DAMN!!!!! and it was GOOD!!!! serve it up with some rice and eggs....LOL!!!

For you east coast guys that never tried Spam, the best way to describe it is it tastes like Pork Roll / Taylor Ham when fried.

Honestly, I don't know if I've ever tried it. Deviled Ham, on the other hand... I love that crap.
