I used to frequent a place called Fandom Comics in Reno, Nv back when I was a regular reader of Spider-Man and Batman. When they closed up, that was the end of comics for me. It was never the same. They even had Megos on display. It was a real small shop, but they were a great place. They gave me the (1970's) Alice Cooper comic for free one day just because I wanted to read it. I still have it too. It's probably my most prized (and worthless) comic. Comic shops rule. It sucks to see them go.
