Best Yard Sale Find?

Nothing really, there are too many dealers at Car boot sales these day. They hit you as soon as you arrive with no time to take your key out of the ignition.

best garage sale deal find was about 5 months ago, this family was having a moving sale and the adult son had all of his Kenner super powers collection out and I bought up the entire collection for $25.00! (I got a loose Hall of Justice, a Delta Probe 1,the Supermobile,the lex soar 7, the batmobile and almost every figure). The upsetting fact was the week before I had bought a MISB Hall of Justice for $300.00. (I could have bought some of my other fav 80's toys with that money).......

Like most of you, yard sales around here suck. Once though I did score a huge stash of G.I.Joe RAH stuffs about ten years ago... it really wasn't that great a score but since they seldom ever happen I was ecstatic. I ended up trading for some vintage Star Wars stuff to a comic shop.

At the same sale I grabbed a 50's Steiff Teddy Bear and a Van Briggle vase amongst many other things--everything was 25 cents to 50 cents.

While not worth much, I was thrilled with this haul a couple years ago,...ugly chair, two sets of lawn darts, hamburger phone, Weebles, vintage games, fondue pot, vintage picnic set, and antique Christmas ornaments and more,...and all for under $15.00.

OK, Beatle-fans.., here's mine..:

My mom found a covered 'Butcher cover' for only a quarter....

Yep, I spotted it immediately when she brought it home..: 3 1/2 inches under the "y" in "Today" was Ringo's black collar (typically the easiest hint to look for when searching...).

I don't have much.., but it's a treasured item.

I found 15 different Warner Bros store dc comics plates for $2.50 a piece. And they were ones I needed.
A working complete Snake Mountain and 20 or so MOTU guys with a huge bag of accessories for $20.
