yeah it was picked up, but the dude who plays Spartacus is sick...so it'll be a while before it even gets started

The show will not work without Andy Whitfield...he is Spartacus...he's forever imprinted as that character.

thanks to Hec, Damian, and Fallensaviour...I am now hooked on this show.

Just finished episode 8 online (the one where the new Gaul tries to kill Sparatacus and Crixxus comes to his aid - because of the bond of brotherhood). This is a mesmerizing show that just draws you into it.

I'm really enjoying the gladiator/Roman culture/politics aspects of the show (themes of honor/shame and Roman politics), but the acting is superb and the personal conflicts/relationships are intriguing.

Has was too much "skin" for my personal taste, but I understand why it is included. The debauchery was very much a part of ancient Roman life. I think they capture that well.

And I LOVE the fight scenes.

oh the horse **** episode or should i say x-horse **** great episode... i actually thought that guy was going to give Spartacus a good fight, too bad it never happened
