The finale was awesome!!! I have loved this show from the begining. After watching the first 2 episodes on a Starz free preview, I had to add Starz to my cable so I could watch it.

Loved the way the battles and killings were filmed.

The only thing missing is Lithias death her husband and that greese ball Ashur.

Now the big question I have is Crixus,I know they poisoned him enough to weaken him for the fight but is he now dying???
Watching Varros wife get revenge was sweet!!!
It's about time Spartacus hit it with mia shes damn hot...
I can't wait for next season man I hope it's not a prequel!!!
This show delivered on all points for me.
My only mistake was watching spartacus and then watching the new clash of the titans...It was so slow and boring compared to Spartacus...

I did read that they were picked up for a second season even before the first was finished or even aired.

He's not dying. The poison simply weakened him temporarily.

Lythia's husband...Gaius Claudius Glaber...will have his army decimated by Spartacus' force down the line...and he will get routed...his entire battalion slaughtered. I cannot wait for that one...lol.

The thing is that Spartacus and Crixus alliance was always uneasy.

In the beginning...Spartacus and Crixus co-commanded the slave army...but towards the end...Spartacus just wanted to flee Rome...while Crixus wanted to stay and do as much destruction as he could.

So the slave army broke up in two...one commanded by Spartacus...and the other by Crixus.

Crixus was defeated first...and killed in battle.

Eventually Spartacus' forces were defeated as well...but unlike the movie with Kirk Douglas (where he gets crucified)...in real historical events...Spartacus' body was never found.

Some say he died in battle but couldn't be identified by the Romans...and some say he escaped to his homeland.

Boy...I hope they end the series with him escaping to his homeland...he deserves it...
