Have you met any Celebrities lately?

Have you met any Celebrities lately?

After 20 years of being a fan I finally met Trisha Yearwood. She was signing her new cookbook at the Borders by me on Thursday. My girls survived a late night of waiting (2 1/2 hours) in line. She posed for a picture and chatted with me and my girls for a moment. Very Down to Earth woman. Also met her mom and sister.

I met the singer of the Quebec band 'Vilain Penguin' at the local grocery store.Talked my ear off about the music business.
I know that doesnt mean too much to anyone outside Quebec, but thats my bit on this thread.

i met lou ferrigno last week at the wondercon and wished i didnt. he was the worst celeb encounter ever. all that came out of his mouth were prices. i told him my 7 year old who was right next to me, has seen all the hulk series and was happy to see him, and all he said was $25 for an autograph. no "hi, nice to meet you! " or even a "how are you? what's your name?" total jerk! i asked him if my friend could take a pic of me, him and my son together and he said it was $65. thanks but no thanks!

another friend on a different day also had the same experience.

Thanks but no thanks is the way I felt about Adam West and Lee Meriwether at Dukesfest a few years ago. Their line was small so I waited in line until I saw the prices for an autograph $50.00 each! Than walked right past them!

Had back stage passes to the meet and greet for county singer Collen Raye back before Christmas. He was really nice ,posed for pictures and was signing everything. He was a little under the weather but still great, went on to put on an excellent show.

I work from home and barely leave the house these days - so I hardly see ANYONE.

I've heard that Rachel Mcadams lives around here, and I usually see a lot of other local Canadian celebrities in the summer in Kensington Market.

My girlfriend has been doing catering on movie sets lately, so she sees some pretty cool people. Today Donald Sutherland was on set - but she can't ask for autographs or anything.
