To put it more concretely, I can recall many times that Rich would joke about how he would have to hold his tongue when I entered the chat room. Funny a few times. But every time?

Or the way he would just chip away at the conversation with belittling comments in the chat room when the subject turned away from his desired topics.

And just the other night how he entered the chat room, made a dig at talking about Ledy and then was relatively quiet, perhaps in private chat with Russ and meanwhile holding some silent grudge against me for yet another day because of a Dracula cape.

Then in Heath's thread about HTF MEGOs and Foreigns, his desire to derail the conversation because he doesn't like Foreigns. What is the point of that?

And yes, I take it personally. Fault me for that. I spend a lot of time and energy doing something that I love and I share it here publicly for all to see. That is an act of faith. Faith that people here will give me the space to co-exist peacefully under the very large and comforting bear hug we call MEGO.

I haven't been to California in probably 10 years. It might be nice to visit again. Put in on hold for me. Worst case scenario is I get cottage cheese as opposed to milk.

Using the "ignore" function has worked wonders for me.
I've learned that you can't get along with everyone. Some people here I consider friends, others I feel like burying in an unmarked grave.

That conclusion makes sense based on what has happened in this thread, but I will defend the beauty of the chat room despite this. The other 99% of the time, it is truly a blast!
