I saw it 2D passed on the overpriced 3D Imax....Ok it wasn't boring but I felt there was no real Character development. Solid Popcorn flick Neat effects the Kraken was cool....big Highlight for me was Gemma Arterton who IMO should be cast to play Wonder Woman she's fine as Hell!

Superman Returns had some sections "3Ded up" in Imax theaters. While impressive, it didn't match Avatar, because it wasn't filmed in that way. I imagine this looks similar.

Just seen the Clash of the Titans trailer on youtube and the metal music ruined it.

Made me feel like I was watching a WWE promo

I sure hope that music isn't in the real movie

I think what I hate is when they use bad metal music in the trailers! (And keep the "all metal is bad" comments to yourselves lol) And yes I agree, it's the same kind of stuff as the wrestling promos. I think the more epic music like you hear in the original movie and other Harryhausen films is really more suitable for a film like this anyhow.

I probably won't bother seeing this in the theater, I'll wait for the dvd.

....'specially since some of Manowar's more operatic tunes would have been PERFECT for this film. (Something like "Swords to the Wind" maybe? Or "Heart of Steel?")

I've heard it's kinda brainless, but the monsters rock.... which is pretty much all I care about.... but yeah; I'll probably catch it on cable. (I HATE leaving my house....)

I think metal music in movies will date the movie.

Look at the disco music in The Spy Who Loved Me's ski chase scene ...

I'm sure at the time the production theme thought it was cool, modern and would be cool forever.
