lord of the rings trilogy, I had a tear in my eye in the third instalment, as the film was coming to a end, one of the most amazing adventures Ive seen on screen.

I'll pick The Matrix.

It's tough for me to pick a single favorite movie. My criteria is something that's endlessly rewatchable, and on first viewing was a revelation and seemed to pass in an eyeblink, and whose flaws, if any, are easily ignored by the presentation of the whole package.

This one fits the bill for me, though there are many, many others.

Man, this is a REALLY tough one for me. I could toss up at least 10 films that could be interchanged for the top spot. I think I am going to go with the following though.
