The scene in Casablanca when Paul Henreid has the band play La Marseilles to drown out the Nazis who are singing and the rest of the bar sings along with Henreid. That scene gives me chills when I just think about it.

When Superman saves the plane in Superman Returns and soft lands it in the stadium. I could only think of 9/11 during that sequence and how badly we need a Superman.

Star Trek II - When the Enterprise pops up behind Reliant's roll bar to finish off Reliant. When Kirk moans, "Noooooo...", after Spock has said his farewell.

Star Trek III - The Kirk collapses after David's death is very good. Some have said it's Shatner hamming up but I disagree. Very powerful.

Star Trek VI - Chekov, "So this is it...", reminding us that this is the end of the adventures of the classic crew. For it's faults, and there are few, ST VI was a very inspiring film.

Lord Of The Rings - The lighting up of Dwarrowdwelf, ( Moria), by Gandalf and the music swells, seeing the Argonath, Bohromir getting up and fighting on after each large arrow pierces him and the music gets slower and slower,
Aragorn - "Let's go hunt some Orc!"
      Gimli - "Yessssss!!!!"

the arrival of the Elven Battalion at Helm's Deep, King Theoden's hart to heart talk with Aeowyn, Theoden's farewell to Aeowyn, Aragorn's inspiring speech to the army at the gates of Mordor. Frodo telling Sam how happy he is to be with him at the end of all things, Frodo & Gandalf's departure.

Mad Max the first movie when you just get glimpses of him working on his interceptor then he gets in the car and fires it up.You just know he is gonna be bad-arse.
“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

I forgot to mention, Doctor Who - Journey's End. When he tows the Earth back to where it belongs. It's silly and stupi but the music really gets me.
