My dad found that NFL lunchbox in a junk closet last week & he gave it to me. Mine has some rust on both sides. I'm trying to figure out how to soak the lunchbox in something IE vinegar or molasses but I don't want the existing paint to peel. I tried to post a pic but maybe forum rules doesn't allow it on my first post.

I had the Johnny Lightning box but paired down when I sold my diecast cars

Tarzan hasn't been mentioned yet, it's a treasure in my book.

    ^^Perfect ^^

I only ever had one lunchbox as a kid so I'm kind of nostalgic about it. I remember it because it had a spinner game on the back that we never played. I also really dig the graphics. The whole thing has kind of a Weebles Haunted House feel.

Well my 3 favorite 60's shows are Star Trek, Batman, and mission impossible.
Mission Impossible never got a lunchbox (unfortunately)
The Trek lunchbox is highly sought after, you can't find one worth displaying (C-6 or better) for under $500. Same deal with Batman only it run around $200-$400.

^ That is a nice collection of NFL lunchboxes! Thanks for cluing me in on what's out there.

I saw the 1964 one on eBay earlier today. Has the Bears and Packers on one side and Giants and Browns on the other. Makes me wonder if the AFL made any boxes before the merger.

The other ones are the 1978 and 1973

There is also a Redskins and 1964 NFC box and I think that's it.

My favorite lunchbox is my original Star Wars aluminum with the X-wing on one side and stormtroopers questioning Luke/Ben on the other. Mine has a large dent on the X-wing side from when I smashed it over the head of a bully in second grade who was a few grades higher than me. My mom still has that in her garage holding small tools and nails. I should reclaim that at some point...

Steve Bartkowski was slinging it when I was growing up. Beautiful unis and the 2-bar facemask.

The part of the country I grew up in got mostly Cowboys, Chiefs, Oilers, and Broncos on TV. AFC East and NFC Central and West were teams I didn't get to see a lot of.
