Wrathdemon, does Tommy Thayer wear the Space-Ace make-up the way Eric Singer wears the Cat make-up? I've always thought it a bit odd that Singer didn't develop his own character the way Carr and Vincent did back in the day.

I guess after Peter and Ace finally left after trials an errors trying to keep the original reunion lineup going. When they added the replacements again having Tommy jump into Ace's shoes and then when Eric Singer came back to the band he just threw on the catman outfit after Paul and Gene declined to renew Peter's contract when it was up in 2002.
KISS wanted to keep that live outfit stage feel because the fans liked it. When Peter and Ace couldn't continue, as members of KISS, Paul and Gene decided to keep it going.
I have seen them live with Tommy and Eric. It sounds like KISS, without crippled Peter Criss and drunken Ace Frehley forgetting his licks.

Yes. Both Gene and Paul sing lead in the recent KISS.

I have only heard Tommy sing some minor verses or backups. Eric and Tommy don't touch any of Ace and Peter's songs except the Black Diamond vocals where Eric does a fine rendition of Peter's vocal lines.
The Rock the Nation tour was awesome! You can get it on DVD to check out how Tommy and Eric prove they can keep the KISS legacy moving forward!

Am I the only KISS fan on here that still follows them? LOL
