Hard to say. Maybe if the mock act was all the way through. I undertsand where people think they should be fired. I just look at at like we are all human and make mistakes. I just don't think a minute of bad judgement and 10 seonds of really bad judgement should cost someone there livelihood. If thsse are good people and good teachers the suspension will send the message in my opinion.

In Canada, it is very hard to relieve a teacher of duty unless they have broken the Law. At that point they would lose their Teaching License and then be unable to complete the terms of employment and their Contract becomes null and void. For situations where the Law has not been broken there has to be repeated offenses related to dereliction of duty.

For a situation like this, they will get a suspension and written notice that their actions didn't conform with District Policy. If they do it again, then they would risk being relieved of duty. Of course that's only if they have Permanent Contracts with their School District. If they have Temporary Contracts, then they are as good as fired. They'll never work again as teachers. No School District will touch them.

    Blame the Lawyers...

I'd say they just got lost in the moment of having fun and it was an error in judgement. Suspension is suitable enough to say "You f'ed up". Firing is way too harsh.

The teachers exercised incredibly bad judgment. They got carried away and should have known better. There's a line you need to keep that separates you from the kids and they crossed well past it. They should at least be disciplined.

We have an adults-only peep-show/adult book store here ..... It get's raised at least twice a month for prostitution ... Can't figure out why they don't shut it down for good ... Unless some high up people might be on the take.

We have a nude beach here and strip clubs.
We also have several adult stores and adult movie stores.
They are also not raunchy or lewd in the overall appearance.
The stores look just like any other building or store except they say "Adults only in big letters".
Again no big deal to me as it is not in a school.

Trust me, from what I noticed, the nude side was icky.., especially when standing in line for stuff. It's not as 'arousing' you might think. Many people on that side.. um, shouldn't be on.. that side..
