I just seen that movie about a year ago but never caught the title

Of all the above mentioned, shawshank was jaw dropping to watch, but one u Guys missed and Im really suprised is "in the name of the father" , with Daniel Day Lewis and Emma Thompson, true story of the men wrongly accused of the IRA bombings, fantastic emotionaly moving film

Another one, more for the english crowd here "Scum" with a very young Ray Winstone. It was one of those banned films at the time with a certificate X

Great call! "In the "Name of the Father" is fantastic, though I guess I don't really think of it as a prison movie per se.
