Crayfish, Crawfish or Crawdad

In Alabama it's usually Crawdad and sometimes Mudbug.

One of my favorite foods in the world is Crawfish Etouffee.

Crayfish here in central NY. Did quite a bit of fishing at a nearby pond and some days that included lifting up rocks in nearby creeks looking for crayfish and salamanders.

I'm from Massachusetts and we say crayfish. It's a New England thing really.
