Good list, but you left out Pete Townsend. The cleanest guitar player ever. Just listen to him, never a squeak because he is propably the only one who does not drag his fingers up the neck while he plays, he actually lifts them!

okay warrior, some of them I have never even heard of and I consider myself a rock aficianado......and some of them i would never consider a rock god. Agreed we should have had Townsend and Gilmour on there and Alex Lifeson and Brian May as well. I would even add Prince to the list believe it or not, the guy is an amazing guitarist. What about Steve Howe? Angus Young? Joe Perry? Neil Shon?

It's not about Rock Gods it's about personal Favs.....to add more that would be a top 100 list........
