All the great Hal Hartley and Peter Greenaway movies either don't exist on DVD or have horrible LD transfers and cost a fortune.
Oscar nominated "Secrets & Lies" By Mike Leigh is nearly impossible to find.
The classic "The Magnificent Ambersons" by Orson Welles has never had a proper DVD transfer as far as I know. One with audio and still photos restoring the lost ending is something I'd love to see.
"Touch of Evil" the original version would be cool to see again for comparison's sake at least.
"Weekend" by Jean-Luc Godard was not around last time I looked
"She's Gotta Have It"
Nelvana has never released unedited versions of some of their classic short films, like "The Devil and Daniel Mouse".
"Wings"
"The African Queen" still needs a proper US release, as I recall
I'd love a non-cropped version of "Crumb"
The Complete "Larry Sanders Show" (Possibly my all-time favorite show)
Two of my favorite cheesy sci-fi action movies "I Come In Peace" and "Timecop"
The Beatles complete cartoon series remastered
The complete Charlie Brown Movies remastered (Race for Your Life & Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown)
URGH! A Music War
Electra Woman and Dyna Girl complete series
Johnny Sokko and His Giant Robot or Voyage Into Space.
The Beatles "Let It Be"
Echo and The Bunnymen "Shine So Hard"
Siouxsie and the Banshees "Once Upon A Time" & "Twice Upon A Time"
GoRangers in Sub
I think my number one peeve is SMDM. It really bugs me that it isn't available in N.A.
I'd like to see more of those short-lived Sci-Fi shows get a wee set of their own.
I dunno if it would be worth it for the company to make them, though.
Logan's Run, Beyond Westworld, Man from Atlantis, The Fantastic Journey are a few things that come to mind. They only released the first half of the Champions single season on dvd and the first set wasn't widely available.
In the movie department, I can't really complain. I've missed picking up some things 'cause they went out of print, but that's my fault.
The 67 Fantastic Four and Marvel Toons. Maybe now that Marvel and the cartoons are owned by the same company. Frankenstein Jr/The Impossibles is another MIA.
