People have called Stern a no talent hack his whole life, yet never fails to produce. Single handily saves Sirius Radio and made XM merge. People said that 500 mill he got was ridiculous, yet he paid for himself the first year. Guy was told he was a failure his whole life and never stopped putting corks in those peoples mouths. I wouldn't ever underestimate the Sterns power, because imo you'll be wrong every time.

Not a hater but not a really big fan either. I give the fellow his props, he conquered New York and that doesn't simply come from fart jokes and lesbians. But what Stern brings to the table I think may be the real "jump the shark" moment for American Idol. Without Simon they'll do good to last two seasons.

Look, Tuesday night is date night, it's the one night of the week I'm guarenteed to get some ok? Idol is part of that package. quit hatin' will ya!

Howard Stern on Idol would be an EPIC FAILURE, and I'm a Stern fan. He works on radio, and especially on Sirius because he can say what he wants, and be as rude as he wants. Middle America doesn't want Stern talking about whether Idol contastants can shoot ping-pong balls out their *****'s or deep ***** salamini's. And why would any Stern fan want him to censor himself down to Rated E for everyone, ready for TV version??
could he do it, yeah, sure. Would I want him too, never. Just isnt a good fit at all.
