Your scariest moment ever!

1. 11 warthogs rocketing out of a hole in the ground 5 feet to my right, working in Ethiopia.
2. Looking down and seeing rattlesnake coiled up next to my foot ~4 inches away, while exploring Grand Staircase National Monument in Utah.
3. When I was 8 my Mom had a lump in her neck that had to be removed. It was benign.
4. Repelling off a cliff for the first time.
5. I had stroke at 30 which freaked me out. No residual effects, but it was scary.

09-11 was the scariest day I can ever remember having. Living in close proximity to the city we were just terrified. I remember just wanting to hold my kids close to me.

closer to home though, I was Christmas shopping for my wife about 3 years ago and had my two younger kids with me. My little one was about 2...I was in a candy store of all places and figured the kids would be all into it....turned around for a minute while I looked at something and my 2 year disappeared. I tell you I have never been so scared. I bolted out of the store while the clerk immediately was on the horn with security in the mall. OUtside the store was pandedemonium as it was center court in the Galleria and they were having a Christmas concert. hundreds of people and I have to find a 2 foot tall rugrat. thought I would have a heart attack.....I think what happened was she heard the music and went out to see it and the realized I was not with her and came running back....of course by that point my hair had gone gray. I think the clerk was even more panicked then me. she was holding her chest and practiacally hyperventilating.

Slashing my left wrist as a kid (while playing) and seeing the blood gush out
Flipping my car on the highway doing 85 mph
Hearing that my brother had cancer (he has had his treatment and all should be well now)

In the summer of 1987, our family went to Great America in Illinois. My cousin & I rode on the then new Power Dive. After about six swings and being close to going over the top, I heard a loud snapping noise and my harness flipped backwards and completely off. In a panic I had to lock arms with the people on either side of me as everyone was screaming for the ride to be immediately shut down. Fortunately the ride operator saw the harness fly off and did an emergency stop.

I have no really scary moments...except that moment of panic when I waddled into the operating room to do a scheduled C-section which was a windowless room and seemed to be in the basement. One look at the water stains on the ceiling, and the tubes and whatnot--I panicked when I thought about Coma. Then they had me bend over to access my spine so they could numb me from the waist down...and they gently laid me on the table while they strapped down my arms in a crucifix position. I kept saying, "no no no...please...stop!!" but they wouldn't listen. Then I heard one of the doctors saying to hand her the knife...and I could hear the other doctor saying, "Shhhh! Don't say that!!" to the other doctor. I wanted to get the hell out of there.

Mine was actually in 2009, I had a 6 hour nose bleed and had to go to the ER cause it would not stop basically if you turned your faucet on a low stram that is what I had. Turned out I ruptured a blood vessel in my nose due to high blood pressure it was 276/94, they told me I was lucky I did not have a stroke on the spot. My only thought the whole time was would I see my 2 yr old again

I got like 5 I can think of ..., In No Particular order ...

1. around 16 When Me and My Brother "Dukes of Hazzard" His Mom's Car ...., I thought we were going to Die,.. and the Air we caught, and the distance we Flew,... seems like Time itself Froze in place ..

2. like 22 In My Camaro...., when it was real icey, and started to rain..., I managed to pull off a 180 ..., then imediately went back into a 360 ... The Car Almost Flipp'ed..., and I do believe my Buddy's Girlfriend Crapped Herself. The care Stalled after the 360 ..., and we took a moment to reflect at what just happened, outside of 2 am ..

3. 18 ,.. 4 Friends,.. a Supposive Haunted House..., interesting stuff to say the least ..., At the time I was extremely Freaked out.

4. 20 yrs Old... Had a six shot pulled out right in front of me ,.. at a 7-11 ..., Big Berly Biker Dude ..., looking for his car, that someone just stole.., told me He'd Blow My Head off too...., He then ran outside and Fired like 5 rounds at the Vehicle, shaddering the back window,.. then jumped on his Bike after the car ... I think I crapped myself .

I think around this time period..., it was almost like Final Destination..., where Death was wanting me...

5. My Son was like 5 ..., There is a reason Kid's shouldn't jump on the Bed..., Well he was told not to, but ofcourse did it anyway... He come running outta the bedroom holding his head..., screaming..., when He took his hand off his head.., blood shot out as if it were in a small hose..., Man ..., my Heart Sunk to my Arse..., I got ready in like 2 seconds..., drove about 90 to the Hosptial..., got him in there...,.. a few yrs later, everything was fine..., He had a small hole in his head.., they stitched it up with 2 Stitches..., to this day.., I dunno what happened..., and he has also never jumped on the Bed.
