I know a lot of people that don't have animals and their home still stinks

At least having an animal gives a person an excuse

Next door, where he belongs. He's allowed to hang in my yard, particularly because he scares the other cats away but he ain't getting in.

My cat sleeps on the third floor of my Wayne Foundations.

She has to as the Lab can reach the top of the book case it rests on and the first floor when stands on his hind legs.

All mine sleep with the fishes. One of these days we'll probably get another one, but I am busy right now with my humanoid poop producers.

and that goes for dogs birds and any other animal that should live outside lol

I can ASSURE you that despite having three cats in our home, the place ALWAYS smells great.

I am absolutely maniacal about cleanliness, neatness, and being rid of unpleasent odors.

              Litter boxes are cleaned daily.

Each of the cats also gets a thorough bath and conditioning once every 2 months (to minimize their shedding).

I know what you mean about some pet homes with their stale scent... but definitely not in mine!

As for where my cats sleep: Well just about anywhere they choose! But I will say they DO like to recline on ME pretty regularly.

Cat's are evil? Yes and no. Our first one was the devil, but not too smart. He'd cross the road when cars were driving by, eventually he got hit by one and died. We got a new one and this one's the complete opposite: lazy and dumb, just the way I like it At least this one doesn't break stuff all the time.

And I don't know what animals your friends have, but our house smells just dandy

fair play to you guys i must have visited some rank homes in my time

you get that wee up the wallpaper type smell... kinda like a pet shop

yeah deffo went to some rank places in my time

reason i dont like cats is simple... 1 bit my face and scrammed me to bits when i was a kid, all i was doing was watching cartoon on tv when mickey our then pet cat who never had a temper or bad streak in his life jumps on my lap prods around for a bit to find a comfy spot then goes at my face with his fangs and claws like a scene fresh out of nightmare on my street

my mum ran in and tried to grab the cat off me i remember she had hold of it and yet his teeth was still stuck in my cheek! when i say cats are evil i have history, im not just throwing something out there
ill go to a place where someone has a pet cat and they will give me the weeeeeeeeeeeccchhhhh type of screech thing, i get that all the time... evil little things they are

I'm a cat LOVER, but "evil tiger midgets" has me laughing, still. I love that show "Big Cat Diary" on Animal Planet, in part because I see SO much lion and leopard in my cats!

ANywhere that can be like a perch. My oldest female likes to sleep in my armchair. The younger female likes the rocking chair. The kittens like boxes, clothes baskets, etc.... My males like our bed and sleep with us. I have 6 total. All rescued.

My monster used to sleep with me when I still had him.

I sleep in a twin bed, and he weighed 20 lbs. He would stretch out to his fullest extent, right up against my back, and go into purr mode.

I remember one time, he was sleeping next to me as I was reading a magazine, and he woke suddenly hissing in anger, and I hadn't touched him!

He looked around, totally confused, then looked at me and washed his paws, like he was saying "I meant to do that."

We have 3. 2 of them sleep together near a heater in the winter. During the summer, they sleep in out kids' beds when they boys are awake. Our 3rd cat sleeps at mine and my wife's feet every night.
